Next StoryThe Partners are delighted to announce that Bobby Chakravarthy, Partner at Arcus, has been inaugurated as President of the Association for Project Safety (APS). The Inauguration Reception was held following the APS Annual Conference at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. Bobby takes over from current APS President, Richard Wilks, for a two year term on 1st October 2016.
Bobby comments; "I am tremendously honoured to be appointed as APS President and will continue with the organisation's important work to raise the standards of Health and Safety Design Risk Management beyond compliance and to be a driver for innovation and improvement in safety and health outcomes in the construction industry".
The APS has over 5,400 members in the UK and nine staff based in Edinburgh, with aspirations to grow internationally. They are the only membership organisation focused on safety in the pre-construction phase. As an organisation they look to continuously improve and promote the professional practice of design and construction health and safety management to ensure the safety of all those working on construction projects.
