Friese Greene House Scoops 'Development of the Year'
Next StoryAffinity Sutton’s landmark mixed-use scheme, Friese Greene House, on Portland Road in Hove has been announced as ‘Development of the Year’ at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s South East Awards. Dave Handforth was appointed CDM-Coordinator on the scheme which was completed in June 2015.
Following the demolition of the former Gala Bingo site, the new development has provided 35 one, two and three bedroom apartments for affordable rent, exclusively for local people and a new GP surgery.
"We’re really delighted to see Friese Greene House recognised. We pride ourselves on building high quality schemes and this is a good example. Friese Greene House has breathed new life into this part of Hove and we hope that the residents and their families spend many happy years to come there.” Kerry Kyriacou, Development Director at Affinity Sutton
