LABC Award Success

Arcus are thrilled to bring home yet another LABC Award win this year for Eddleston Drive, Nottingham for the Best Social or Affordable Housing Development.

Regional chair Paul Smith said: “These awards are an opportunity for us all to celebrate the very best construction in the region, recognising the high level of skill and professionalism the construction industry is capable of achieving.”

“Local authorities in the East Midlands region believe in working in partnership with our construction industry colleagues and many of the nominations are testament to these strong partnership arrangements. These awards are our way of recognising the outstanding work that they do.”

The scheme is a flagship project for Nottingham City Homes to build 5 new 2 bedroom houses using the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) who are the same staff that will carry out their repairs and maintenance. Arcus approach to design and innovation on this project was driven by the quest for efficiencies that would deliver both value and quality.
