Arcus have secured a sixth consecutive Gold Award for Health & Safety from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for outstanding performance in health and safety.

Dating back to 1956, the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK.  Celebrating 60 years, the award recognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention and is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas. The scheme does not just look at accident records, but also organisations' overarching health and safety management systems, including important practices such as strong leadership and workforce involvement.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations."

This award also recognises the hard work and commitment of our Health & Safety Committee who ensure our systems and processes continue to evolve and improve to meet the requirements of current legislation and to ensure the safety of our staff and those who may be affected by our works.

Arcus will be presented with the award at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on July 13, as the event marks its diamond anniversary.

The Partners would like to congratulate everyone on this fantastic achievement.
