Andrew Greenwood
Partner

“My grandad always said Rob Roy was one of our ancestors, which I am quite proud of, as he despised needless bloodshed and fought against injustice.”

An introduction —
Andrew graduated from Liverpool Polytechnic in 1984 and spent his formative years working in the Estate Department of the Health Service before joining the newly opened Arcus Leeds office in 1988. Shortly before joining Arcus, Andrew qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

During his time at Arcus, Andrew has always understood the importance of developing his skills and ability. From initially providing quality building surveying services, Andrew has since gained experience as Project Manager and Employers Agent, delivering major capital schemes for a range of clients. Although the majority of these works have been within the housing sector, Andrew has successfully transferred these skills to other sectors.

In 2008 Andrew became a registered member of the Association of Project Safety and has acted as Principal Designer for numerous clients.

As Arcus has grown so have Andrew‘s management responsibilities within the practice. Since moving from the Leeds office in 1998 to become a team leader in the Manchester office, Andrew achieved promotion to Associate status in 2003 and finally accomplished his goal and became a Partner in 2005.

Andrew’s all round abilities are utilised fully by the practice as partner responsible for human resources and for driving our sustainability agenda forward.
